Hi, I’m Chok Keun, aka CK. I love all sorts of paper crafts and altered arts. I am basically a lazy scrapper who hardly scraps but love to hoard SB stash. But I’m certainly glad working on mini arts like cards, ATCs & inchies.

Stamping is my all time favourite! I always love having readily stamped images & sentiments, these are great when I need to make a quick card or ATC.

Tim Holtz is my idol, I simply love all the products and projects that he designed! I wished I could own every single product designed by him, if only they are more affordable. I hope that 1 day I get to attend his class and meet him in person! Guess I will behave like a crazy fan, lol…
I love travelling and snapping around.

Hi Everyone, I’m Fadhilah from Kuala Lumpur.

My first encounter with Scrapbooking was way back in year 2000. Whilst waiting for my flight, I went to the airport bookshop and found a scrapbook magazine. I was curious to see so many beautiful layouts but had no idea how to create one. I still have that magazine in my bookshelves! To my delight, I found a local scrapbook shop in 2009.

Scrapbooking has been my hobby ever since. I quit my job in 2009 after working for 13 years
as an engineer in an international O&G company. To be a fulltime housewife and a mum to 4 beautiful children is a privilege indeed! I can’t thank my husband enough for that opportunity.

Hi! I'm Annie, a PTWM to a 3-year old boy. In 2005, I was looking for a good way to preserve the memories of my wedding and found scrapbooking. I have never looked back and have gone on to documenting my son's growth and our every day details which I wish to remember. I am hoping that my son will be able to look back at the LOs when he is all grown up and remembers his growing up years.

Hi! My name is Yuzz Yusof, I am a daughter, sister, friend, wife to a wonderful husband and a mother to a beautiful princess. I love doing anything creative but have found my niche with scrapping. I have been scrapbooking for almost two years and I decided to try my hand at the blogging world for some reasons: the main one is to share ideas and making friends.

Scrapbooking is definitely my patient and favourite way to channel my creative energy and it is very much therapeutic and also this is part of “me” time for me. I started to fall in love with stamping and embossing lately and I am also learning photography. Our lives is so colourful and I enjoy documenting through pictures and pages, doing altered arts and albums to cherish the fun and not-so-fun “moments” in our lives that we might otherwise forget years down the road. Nothing brings me greater joy than to see the faces I love most light up when they look at my work.

So a little about me. I'm Jaclyn Kline from the Philippines. My friends refer to me as Kline 'coz it's shorter (just one syllable). I'm always taken for a guy 'coz of my name though, especially if they haven't seen me yet. I started scrapping February of this year. And was a certified scrapaholic in less than a week, certified hoarder in a month. haha. I find scrapping very relaxing 'coz it's different from my line of work. I'm a software developer ad sometimes it can be very stressful so I find solace in scrapping.

I'm Sharm from Sunny Malaysia..the weather's been rather down so it's not really sunny that often these day *lol* :) I'm a SAHM to a very mischievous one yr old bratty lil gal that I love loads and a wonderfully supportive hubby .. ;)

I love all things handmade & indulge in a variety of handmade hobbies that include card making, scrapping and jewelry making. I truly believe that a handmade gift is beautiful to receive as it is to make. It is also a poignant way to express a thought that comes straight from the heart. Though my time is fully occupied with my lil princess, I make time to indulge in this hobby that I find to be extremely therapeutic after a busy day with her.

I'm also a self-confessed hoarder! *lol* I can't walk out of a scrapbooking supplies store empty handed!

I am Jaz Lee from Singapore. I am a SAHM with 3 precious crazy adorable kiddos.They are my source of inspiration most of the time.

I have been scrapping for 3years now and loving every moment of it. I have had my work published in several magazines ie Somerset Memories,Scrapbooking Memories and Stamping and Papercraft Magazines. I am also teaching at Laines Papeterie, a LSS during the weekends.

My work,I will say, I don't have one definite style,but if I have to describe it,I would describe it as a "beautiful mess".I like to clutter the page up with papers and embellishments into one organized piece. And I always think it is exhilarating to have the freedom to greet each piece of work as a challenge,to think up new ideas and be as creative as possible.

Hi all Groovies!

Firstly I would like to thank Ed for this opportunity allowing me to be Groovie’s December Guest Designer.

My name is Fyzah and I am from Brunei Darussalam. I am married to a very supportive husband and we are still trying to conceive babies :) I love scrapbooking ever since my girlfriends introduced this awesome hobby to me in early 2008 but due to hectic schedule in my day job, I only scrap when I have the time and of course the presence of Mr Mojo is partly important.

When scrapping, I just love those detail cut outs on a layout / page.

How's it going for you this November? I hope everyone is fine and dandy and enjoying each day despite the unpredictable weather we're having here.

It's also time for a fresh new challenge and let's meet this month's

Featured Groovie Guest Designer

Hello everyone! I am Mei Ling (a.k.a. Unazukin by many who scrap), an active (always busy with something) craft lover from young, who dabble from origami, quilling to stamping and anything else that is related to craft. Among all, scrapbooking is most enjoyed as it embellished precious memoriesat the same time, I get an enormous sense of joy to see my thoughts and ideas being translated into physical layouts.

I love my craft works to be colourful and fun. I consciously challenge myself to do something different from what I've done. When I received Ed's email, I was taking stock of my stash and creatively thinking how to pack more things into a confined space (sounds familiar, doesn't it :> ). And I chanced upon an old photo album where the pages looked like a layout, yet its very minimum.

While Scrapbooking is in limelight

So, I invite you to re-visit your very 1st LO (be it formal or informal scrapbook LO) and re-count the spirit while you were working on that LO. Adopting the same theme, re-create a new LO of your current style. Seeing how your own style revolve can be refreshing, for all you know that might well be the start of your creative juice for December's challenge :)

Oh My! It's October already and I truly hope everyone is feeling fine and doing great. Time truly flies and now it's Month 10 of 2009.

It's also time for another Groovie Challenge and please welcome our

Hello! I’m Janis, a scrapbooker from the Philippines. I am married to a very supportive husband JE and a mother to Nat (4yo) and Phil (2yo). I started scrapbooking April 2008 and have never been able to stop. I do mostly 12x12 pages - - usually with my kids as the subject - - but I also dabble in cardmaking and altered projects from time to time.

My style can very much adapt to the papers and embellishments that I design with although a play on bold and bright colors usually stands out on my layouts (hence, the monicker Ms. Bold and Bright among friends!). I have a penchant for elaborate layouts - - I soo love putting details and textures on my pages. Clustering, layering and distressing are the usual techniques that I use although I am not afraid to experiment and try other techniques. I feel that I am still new at this craft and have a lot to learn in the process.

I am so excited and honored to be the featured Groovie Guest Designer for October. Thanks so much Edleen for the opportunity.

My challenge is to create a monochromatic layout. If you're keen, why not scrap the color that best describes you?

As my son turned three on the 30.08.09, I felt a little nostalgic.
I rummaged through my stack of old photos of my son and found one that really spoke to me....
it was the FIRST picture of him taken on the day he was born.

Hi creative readers. I'm honoured to be featured as a groovie designer for this month. Thanks Ed. Anyway, I am Maya or known as Scrapper Maya. I'm from a small peaceful country, Brunei Darussalam. I'm happily married to Armie, a photographer addict & currently we are waiting for our bundle of joy to come this September. I'm a seasonal scrapper (even though I'm mad about scrapping, I just don't have enough time to make more LO's), but am hoping will be more productive in the future. Oh yes, I'm still a beginner in scrapping eventhough I started this hobby in late 2007.

Maya's Groovie Layout & Challenge

My challenge is very simple it must be about 'CELEBRATION', since the Independence Day of Singapore fall this month! What I meant by CELEBRATION is any event that you celebrated, for instances, wedding (like I did), birthday, anniversary, etc.

All things you must include in your layout:
-Colour theme: Red, White & Black.
-Multiple photos.
-Stickers (make use of your stickers in this LO, isn't it lovely?)
-At least a handmade embellishment by yourself (Like my heart shaped beaded wire).
-Scalloped paper.

Hi everyone! First of all I’d like to thank Ed for the opportunity to be Featured Groovie Guest Designer here.

I'm Nadia aka Naddy from Malaysia , married with no kids (yet) but we have 6 furry kids In my school/uni days I've always love to journal and decorating my photo albums, but I didn't know it was called scrapbooking... It was only in July 2007 that I started scrapbooking with proper materials/supplies and I’m hooked!!! I love doing 12x12 layout and altered arts. It's been great learning experience and I get to preserve all my precious memories & express myself through journaling.

For me scrapbooking is very therapeutic, I get to explore the creativity in me & looking at the finished projects give a sense of achievement & satisfaction.. When I'm at home, I'm the most happiest in my scrap room... Basically, I am just having so much fun with scrapbooking ☺ Shopping & scrapping = I LOVE

Hi darls! I am Ramintessah Aihara. If you find my unique name a very long one, you can call me Tessah then.lol! First of all, I am so thrilled to be here and so thankful to Ed. I am a Filipina and I am married to Yoshi. We dont have any kids yet so I have plenty of time for scrapbooking and procrastinating.

I learned scrapbooking 6 months ago in my attempt to give a personalized gift for my husband. Since then, I am hooked. I am a very tyroscrapper and I can say that my style and designs are evolving around the different inspiration I used to get tru blog hopping and internet surfing. I love to experiment on every technique that I see on the net. Looking at my works, you will notice that most of them are vibrant and bright in nature.Yup,I love to grab a lot of orange, yellow and green from my stash. Lately, I have been playing with paint and mist to add texture on my layout. I love altering chipboards too and Diamond Glaze is my bestfriend at the moment.lol! And should I say, my most favorite technique is hand stitching. I would really love if you could visit me at my scrapping blog here.

I hope my layout would somehow inspire you to create for this month. Again,thanks for looking at my work, listening at my story and for having me here this month.

Hello Groovie Girls!

My name is Shamma Parvin and i'm from the Sunny city of Singapore. I am a Pakistani and i'm happily married to the man I love and I'm also a SAHM to my two wonderful children. I have been scrapping for two years now and it has been my 'favourite cup of tea' since then.

Scrapbooking has been my passion as I love to create. It gives me a sense of satisfaction with the end product of my creativity. It is also a form of therapy for me to relax my mind, body and soul.

Hi, I'm Lily Herrera.
I'm 33 years of age, Filipino, a working mother to 3 beautiful kids. And currently living and working in Singapore. I've been married for 10 years to a very supportive man who understands why i need to buy these expensive papers and then cut it ;).

Hi there! My name is Shirley Yow and I'm from sunny Singapore.
I am totally into scrapbooking and I love it for all the myrid forms (altered art, mini albums, cards, etc), the various styles, the huge array of materials and the sheer prettiness of it all. SB for me is also a form of relaxation and the outlet for which I can release all my stress and the grinds of daily life. Not to mention that SB brings out the shopaholic in me! Ola scrappers! I am Zizi aka Renoa and I come all the way from Brunei. I am excited to be invited as the Groovie Guess Designer for this month, thanks Ed for giving me this oppurtunity. Well, I just started this wonderful hobby since last April this year. My biggest support is my Huny Boo because he was the one who convinced me that scrapbooking is better than hunting clothes! Anything art or hand-made has always fascinated me. Scrapbooking has now become my creative outlet, my escape and am enjoying every bit and making great talented friends along the way. Plus, I get to document every precious moment with some gorgeous supplies on earth! I love to experiment with products and techniques. I am a paper hoarder and obviously I love to put layers of pattern papers and chipboards onto my layouts to add dimension. Mind you I am very slow scrapper and I tend to take days to complete a project but I am trying my best to finish one for every work I am assigned to so no worries!lol! My style varies but I seem to enjoy doing shabby chic look lately. As I learn along the way, I hope to inspire others and be inspired by you.

A Big Hello to All My Groovie Girlfriends!

We are now into the 9th Month of the Year 2008 and I sincerely hope everyone is in Good Health and enjoying their time each passing moment.

Hi Groovie Chicks! I’m Sophia and it’s an absolute thrill and honor for me to be invited by Ed to be her FGGD for the month of August!

I’ve been scrapping for about 2 years now and it’s now an outlet for me to escape from the hustle and bustle of my busy schedule as well as a channel to express my feelings and thoughts via this paper craft. When I started scrapbooking, I wanted to record the moments of my then baby boy in a form of a scrapbook, to record down his milestones. Now it’s become a mad, passionate hobby for me!

What inspire me in my pages are mainly the love I have for my family and their love and support for me. I’m thankful and grateful that I have these wonderful people in my life to share moments with and often I would like to put them in my SB pages forever. And now, because of scrapbooking, I’m starting to take a keener interest in photography and its rules and techniques applied; which I try to do so in my Los now.

August marks a celebrative month for us in Singapore! It’s our
1) National Day on 9^th August
2) Fireworks Festival
3) The start of the Beijing Olympic Games.

It’s time to Reach for the Stars and realize your dreams!!

Hi there scrappers, my name is Jessie Pang aka Pandachu and I work full time as a “legal beagle” and squeeze in scrapping at nights and on weekends when Mr Mojo is around. I started scrapping in January 2007 and have been hooked (especially to the shopping) ever since!! It's an absolute honour to be the featured guest designer for this month at Groovie and I do hope you will all join in for the challenge. As I’m not married, I usually scrap about my relationship with my family, friends and my boyfriend.

My challenge for you this month is to create a LO about a good friend that has been with you through the years. I’d like to see the words “best friends” somewhere in the LO and challenge you to use cut-outs from pattern paper too.

The friend featured in my LO is one of my oldest friends. Since primary school we’ve somehow always managed to stay in touch no matter despite being in different countries throughout the years in our education and work. We’re now settled in 2 different countries but still not that far away from each other so we get to catch up from time to time.

Yati's Groovie Challenge

It's the month to celebrate Mothers' day & what's more appropriate than to dedicate an LO to them.

My challenge is to create an LO of a mother. It can be of your mother or yourself (if you are a mom). Include at least one favourite colour of the mother in the picture & use all your beautiful & precious stash (yah the one that you just can't bear to use cos they are oh-so pretty! :-D ) This is afterall a LO for a very special person ;-)

This LO is of my mom with my 1st son, Asyraf at the hospital. She is definitely always there for me...& for that I am so thankful :-)
